An icy chill blew through the forest, and a big grey wolf stood up.
"The time has come, my friends, we must cross the river if we are to survive!" He shouted. A wolf pup howled in fear and the grey wolf nudged her, to calm her.
"But, elder, we'll loose many of our pack, just crossing, let alone the canivores that will kill our young!" A brown wolf told. The elder sighed and looked up.
"The moon is full, we must make our last howl here, and then cross..." He told, the wolves nodded and lifted their heads, it seemed as if they were howling to the moon, which wolves don't do. The elder stood at the edge of the water.
"Follow me, and we will be lead to saftey, adults must carry their young across, as they will not be able to swim.. MOVE OUT!" He yelled and jumped into the water, swimming fast. The other wolves followed, with pups in their mouth's. Water splashed as crocodiles moved in for a late night feast. The elders leg was grabbed, but he got away safely, many wolves died, but soon, they were swimming half way across the sea, too far for crocodiles...
Back at the old pack, a pure white wolf was stuck in the water, she was surrounded by crocodiles, and had been seperated from the pack.
"HELP ME!!" She cried, but nobody could hear her.
She moved backwards, but the crocodiles, went forward, and opened their large jaws, just wide enough so that she could fit in.
"So little girl.. What are you going to do?" One of the crocdiles asked in a sly voice, slowly approaching her....
